NLPDC believes that all learners have a right to instruction that builds on thier strengths and addresses their needs.  Children and adolescents who struggle with literacy require particular types of support.  Response to Intervention (RTI) increasingly provides a framework for working with stuggling readers, but many approaches can be used both within and outside of RTI.

Description:

The 2013 Institute brings many new opportunities and challenges to teachers, and no where is that more evident than in the planning process. This Institute will give youreal-world examples of teachers working with colleagues to link instruction with theCommon Core, and take you step-by-step through the process of connecting assessments  and lesson planning.
